The Mendl Festival - A homage to music and singing with actor Michael Mendl in Zeitz...

Beat Toniolo organized the Mendl Festival in Zeitz in 2019. Several events were held at different venues in Zeitz with the actor Michael Mendl. The concert with reading entitled >A Homage to Music and Song< was recorded in this series of events. The video recording and production took place with 7 cameras in UHD/4K. Small budget, big challenge: Do you keep your high standards?

Most of the time you have to make a decision because these things are mutually exclusive. However, Düsseldorf Medien TV Videoproduktion is the exception to the rule. We use modern, latest-generation cameras of the same type with large 1-inch image sensors. Optimal image quality is achieved in demanding lighting conditions. Cameras can be controlled remotely with the programmable motor pan-tilts, which reduces manpower and costs.

Multi-camera video production (parallel recording with multiple cameras)

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of Düsseldorf Medien TV Videoproduktion. We use cameras of the same type. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. The video material is edited on high-performance computers using professional software. As one of the few video producers, Düsseldorf Medien TV Videoproduktion can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

Video production of concerts, theater performances, readings ...

When it comes to video recording theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., we naturally use the multi-camera method. If the many different areas of the stage presentation are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we can do this using the multi-camera method. We use cameras that are remote controlled. The cameras are controlled in a variety of ways from just one central point. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.

Video reports for television and the Internet

Through many years of activity, we also have a wealth of experience in this area. This resulted in several hundred TV reports and video reports. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience is so rich that we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on all sorts of topics.

Video recording of rounds of talks, discussion events, interviews, etc.

Depending on the assignment, several cameras are also used for interviews, discussion events and roundtables. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. More than two cameras are always necessary when it comes to interviews and conversations with several people. Depending on whether it is an event with an audience, remote-controlled cameras can also be used here. The technical effort is reduced if the video recording is of discussions without an audience.

Editing of video and audio material

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. The second and at least as important part of a video production is the video editing. When cutting the video material, audio tracks and soundtracks are also viewed and adjusted. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.

Small series of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

Do you need CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray discs in small quantities? Düsseldorf Medien TV Videoproduktion is your partner. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
