Synchronous recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

Düsseldorf Medien TV Videoproduktion is one of the few companies that offers multi-camera video production. For such productions we use cameras of the same type. When it comes to image quality, Düsseldorf Medien TV Videoproduktion makes no compromises. The recording is at least in 4K/UHD. The video editing takes place on high-performance computers. Düsseldorf Medien TV Videoproduktion already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

Video recording of concerts, theater performances and readings ...

The video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Only through multi-camera video production is it possible to record many areas of the event simultaneously in image and sound. Remote-controlled cameras are used. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. To what extent it is necessary to be able to remotely control the cameras depends on whether it is an event with an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. After the video recording, the video editing inevitably follows. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited.
